How To Find Us
This October, Moonlight Flicks is located at
Old Clatterbridge Road
Using Storyhouse’s enormous 30ft Airscreen, film fans are encouraged to wrap up warm and enjoy the movie experience, amongst the picturesque Wirral countryside.
Each event will feature a bar by Black Lodge Brewery, street food by BIG DUB of LOVE, plus fire-pits and live music by Harry Smethurst – it’s the perfect cosy autumnal evening under the stars.
How will it work on the night?
When should I arrive?
Tickets are strictly limited per screening and only ticket-holders will be able to enter the Moonlight Flicks site. Gates open one hour before the advertised film time.
Where can I sit?
Claremont Farm is a large outdoor space allowing for plenty of space between groups. This will need to be a minimum of two-metres, and staff will be on hand to help direct you. Please note that if you are attending with people outside of your household, you will also need to be seated two-metres apart.
Reserve the best seats in the house with a VIP Seated ticket, and we’ll have your seats all set up for you with the very best views, for when you arrive.
If you have booked a Standard Ticket, you will need to bring your own seats with you – deck chairs, camping chairs, bean bags or picnic blankets. This seating area is unreserved, so just find any spot you wish to give yourself a good view.
When will the film start?
To ensure it is dark enough for everyone to see the screen, film times can change. The start times is the earliest possible time the film will start – the latest will be 20 minutes later.
How will I hear the film?
To ensure maximum sound quality and a totally immersive experience, all screenings use personal headphones. Customers are encouraged bring their own headphones with them to plug in. Any standard pair of headphones with a standard jack connection will work! Don’t worry if you don’t have your own – we will have enough for everyone.
Can I bring my own food & drink
There will be a bar and fresh street food available to buy, you are not permitted to bring your own food and drinks onto this site.
What if it rains?
Being outside, Moonlight Flicks can be affected by the weather. This location can get muddy, so our advice is to come as prepared as possible: warm jumpers and raincoats, blankets and even sleeping bags will keep you extra cosy!
If there’s some light drizzle which is forecast to pass, we will proceed, but torrential or stormy weather may mean we have to cancel the screening. If we do that we will contact you right away by email and you will be able to choose a refund or exchange. Refunds will only be offered in the event that the screening is cancelled.
What else are you doing to keep us safe?
Hand sanitiser and soap will be available at all hand wash stations and hand sanitiser stations located at entry/exit points.
Staff will follow a cleaning rota to ensure the regular cleaning and sanitising of all high-volume areas and touch points.
Toilet facilities will be closed and cleaned every 30mins or more frequently if required.
Will I have to wear a mask?
Whilst we do not require you to wear a face covering when sitting and watching the film, we do ask that you use one when moving around, queueing and using the toilet facilities. This is because you are more likely to be near to other people during these times.
Are there toilets?
Absolutely! Accessible toilets are located on site and will be available for Moonlight Flicks customers only.
