From Frodsham Street: Walk through Kaleyard’s Gate and turn right. The Dean’s Field is ahead of you.
This is a residential area so please ensure you arrive and leave quietly, and take any rubbish away with you.
How will it work on the night?
New for 2020, a beautiful 30ft cinema screen, and an even bigger location at The Dean’s Field will create a safe and comfortable film experience under the stars with plenty of room for everyone to safely distance and enjoy a great view.
When should I arrive?
Tickets are strictly limited per screening and only ticket-holders will be able to enter the Moonlight Flicks site which is securely gated. Arrival times will be staggered in 15-minute blocks to ease queuing and allow everyone to get settled. Please ensure you arrive at the arrival time on your ticket to guarantee entry.
Where can I sit?
The Dean’s Field is a large outdoor space allowing for plenty of space between groups. This will need to be a minimum of two-metres, and staff will be on hand to help direct you. Please note that if you are attending with people outside of your household, you will also need to be seated two-metres apart.
Reserve the best seats in the house with a VIP Seated ticket, and we’ll have your seats all set up for you with the very best views, for when you arrive.
If you have booked a Standard Ticket, you will need to bring your own seats with you – deck chairs, camping chairs, bean bags or picnic blankets. This seating area is unreserved, so just find any spot you wish to give yourself a good view.
When will the film start?
The start times is the earliest possible time the film will start – the latest will be 20 minutes later. To ensure it is dark enough for everyone to see the screen, film times change over the course of the summer as sunset gets earlier.
How will I hear the film?
To ensure maximum sound quality and a totally immersive experience, all screenings use personal headphones. Customers are encouraged bring their own headphones with them to plug in. Any standard pair of headphones with a standard jack connection will work!
What if it rains?
Being outside, Moonlight Flicks can be affected by the weather. Our advice is to come as prepared as possible: warm jumpers and raincoats.
If there’s some light drizzle which is forecast to pass, we will proceed, but torrential or stormy weather may mean we have to cancel the screening. If we do that we will contact you right away by email and you will be able to choose a refund or exchange. Refunds will only be offered in the event that the screening is cancelled.
What else are you doing to keep us safe?
Hand sanitiser and soap will be available at all hand wash stations and hand sanitiser stations located at entry/exit points.
Staff will follow a cleaning rota to ensure the regular cleaning and sanitising of all high-volume areas and touch points.
Toilet facilities will be closed and cleaned every 30mins or more frequently if required.
Will I have to wear a mask?
Whilst we do not require you to wear a face covering when sitting and watching the film, we do ask that you use one when moving around, queueing and using the toilet facilities. This is because you are more likely to be near to other people during these times.
Are there toilets?
Absolutely! Accessible toilets are located in the Falconry Centre and will be available for Moonlight Flicks customers only.
